What You'll Discover

The Five Layers

Turn Inward, Root, Artistic Middle Layers, Crown with Symbolic Top Layers, Examine Through Reflective Pauses. You learn what each layer is for, what it asks of you, and why the sequence matters.

Methodology, Not Style

This is not a class on how to copy someone else's work. The T.R.A.C.E. Method™ holds space for the decisions only you can make about your own material. That is true artistry. Creating from your own heart, with structure underneath you so the work holds together.

The Two Intentions

Each layer carries both an inner movement and an outer movement. This integration of Inner Journey and Art Process is the definition of Visual Wisdom Keeping itself. The training shows how the two move together at every layer.

No Experience Needed

Making is not the goal. Meaning is the goal. The materials are how you reach it. You do not need to know how to draw, paint, or collage to work this method.

The T.R.A.C.E. Method™: Your Gateway to Visual Wisdom

The T.R.A.C.E. Method™ is the foundational teaching of Visual Wisdom Keeping. It is core to every Wisdom Map. What it teaches is the inner-to-outer movement that trained artists use intuitively but rarely make visible. That invisibility is why their work gets copied rather than learned from. You can reproduce someone else’s painting. You cannot reproduce her inner process.

T.R.A.C.E. makes that movement visible. It gives you the structure underneath the making, so you can do the work yourself, with your own material. The result is that every woman’s spreads look different. Because every woman’s inner material is different. This is the methodology that produces unique work.

Each layer of the method carries both an inner experience and an outer experience. The integration of Inner Journey and Art Process is the heart of Visual Wisdom Keeping, and T.R.A.C.E. is how that integration becomes teachable.

What is taught here is the framework. What is taught in a Wisdom Map is how to live it. Every Wisdom Map is a complete lived application of this framework to a specific piece of your life.

You May Recognize Yourself Here

This is for the woman who:

✨Senses there is wisdom in what she has lived and is looking for a real way to reach it

✨ Has done the development work (the therapy, the coaching, the journaling) and finds these years are asking different questions

✨Has tried art journaling, collage, or mixed media and felt something was missing in the instruction

✨Wants method, not just  techniques

✨Is ready to make something with her hands without needing to be an artist

✨Knows the second half of life is not when growth slows down but when the deepest growth becomes possible

Meet Terri Altschul, PCC

I created the T.R.A.C.E. Method™ because I needed it for myself first.

This work began as a depth process. I wanted to make images that reflected what I was working with inside, the stories and material that thirty years of leadership development, fifteen years of coaching, therapy, and journaling could not reach. I’m not an artist. So I turned to art teachers to learn the techniques I needed to bring the images forward.

What I found is that the techniques live in the middle of the practice. They matter. But they sit inside something larger that no one was teaching: how to move from inner stirring to outer expression. That movement is invisible in finished work. Even good teachers, once they were in the middle of making, were in their own world. Understandably. But it left me with no method to follow into my own.

So I developed my own way of working. And when I wanted to teach it, I reverse-engineered my process into the five layers of T.R.A.C.E. The techniques are still in there, where they belong. But they sit inside the inner-to-outer movement that makes the work yours.

That is why every woman’s spreads will look different. Because the method isn’t about producing my work. It’s about giving you the structure underneath your own.

Terri Altschul is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with more than 4,000 coaching hours, a Certified Immunity to Change Coach, Certified MBTI Facilitator, and Certified Svaroopa Yoga Teacher, and a lifelong student of the depth traditions, contemplative practices, and embodied work that ground everything she does. She is the creator of Visual Wisdom Keeping, a methodology for making meaning through the hands, for women in the second half of life.

You've done the work.
The questions kept deepening.

The therapy, the coaching, the journaling, the decades of building. The second half of life asks different questions, and they don’t yield to more of the same. The T.R.A.C.E. Method™ is the framework for reaching them through the hands. The methodology behind Visual Wisdom Keeping.
